My new album entitled “FOR” is the fourth album that I have had the fortune of working on. All other albums I made led up to this one in the sense that we are all the product of our past endeavors.
As for a theme for this album; do not look for one. Each song lives on its own and tells the story that it tells and nothing more. I do dream of a day where I make an album with one full theme. But I am far from Joni Mitchell’s TURBULENT INDIGO
I produced the album with a budding new talent. Her name is Christine Lacasse.

Word to John Caboto
I recorded this album while I worked as a computer specialist at an elementary school called JOHN CABOTO. I would work my shift that finished at 2:30 and stay at the school to work on my album. At around 6:00 I would hit the studio and record. It was a hectic schedule. Thank you to the staff for all their patience and good will

The songs
The songs are an amalgam of old rejected demos that I had presented to SONY music and new stuff that I wrote the moment we decided to make the album.
Rick Hayworth
Rick Hayworth brought in some really really fresh ideas for the album. Bringing him into the loop really gave the album that special spice I needed. What is cool is that he is a guitarist, like me, which makes for musical ideas that were right on the money. Rick is also a producer so he has an ear for what goes where.
Why so mellow?
This new record includes a great deal of excellent stuff. It is an album that really shows my main influences and where I want to take my musical art. I am a laid back guy and I cannot deny this. Some of my closest relations have said that the album is slow and really laid back. That is O.K. by me. I love fast music “that you can dance to” but right now in my life that is not where I am. Maybe later on I might want to write along the same style as what we did with the SOUL ATTORNREYS but I cannot deny the urge to be artistically honest. To be true to your art sometimes involves being fundamentally self centered and egotistical. I’m not and egotistical guy but for my art I find myself compelled to be that way.
